					<description>Well so much for a measured response. It has taken the board all of 24 hours to appoint a Peter Moores follwing Fletcher's departure. Seems they didn't want to bother considering their options  following the World Cup.

Peter Moores might do a very good job, but the way British sports slects the guys for the top jobs seems to be somewhat flawed. Look no further than Steve MaClaren</description>
